The Applicable program, a collaboration with Google, provides training for developers on the topic of accessibility in mobile apps (in the framework of Campus Tel Aviv).
The program has already influenced many participating startups, such as Gett, Moovit, Fiverr and Waze, to improve the accessibility of their apps, and thus make changes in the lives of many people around the world. In addition, accessibility has become part of the syllabus for various courses at The Interdisciplinary Center (Herzeliya) and in Google’s Android course, which typically has approximately 200 participants. In light of the program’s success, Google plans to reproduce the model in other campuses around the world (London, San Francisco, and more).
