The Technology Center provided professional consultation regarding the accessibility of the Step by Step series of educational apps (from EdTech). The collaboration was a unique project and a groundbreaking model for app development in that an app that was designed for the general population included accessibility features and incorporated universal/inclusive design principles making the app appropriate for a wide range of individuals including those of varying motor abilities and ages. For example, the apps are switch accessible and there is a feature that allows the user to interact with the touchscreen by tap (instead of drag).
